Knjiga je plod petletnega raziskovanja prava, na podlagi katerega deluje policija petih držav (Belgije, Nizozemske, Luksemburga, Francije in Nemčije), ter možnega vpliva medsebojnih razlik na uporabo Schengenske konvencije. Primerjalna predstavitev schengenskih predpisov o mednarodnem policijskem sodelovanju glede na Evropsko konvencijo o človekovih pravicah namenja posebno pozornost policijskim pooblastilom, ki pomenijo eno od najbolj izpostavljenih in odmevnih področij policijskega čezmejnega sodelovanja (opazovanje, zasledovanje, uporaba sile, lisice, orožje, aretacija, telesna preiskava, policijsko zaslišanje, kontrola identitete, pravna pomoč itd.).
Although the Schengen Convention has been in force since March 1995, no book has to date attempted an interpretation of the three authentic versions of the Convention in the light of a comparative study of applicable norms in the five original Schengen countries. This book is the result of a five-year study of the law applicable to the police in five countries (Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, France and Germany) and the possible impact of the differences on the application of the Schengen Convention. Moreover, the European Convention on Human Rights is used as a standard minimum for the interpretation. This book is an important tool for all practitioners in the field of cross-border criminal procedure law.

Being physically active contributes to the development of physical competence and fitness as well as to the child’s cognitive, social and emotional development. Physical Education (PE) plays a crucial role in the holistic education and development of children. Yet, in many schools from marginalised neighbourhoods, PE is not given the recognition and importance it deserves. For this reason, the KaziKidz teaching material was developed for teachers, principals, school staff or for those responsible from the Department of Education, in order to contribute to and support the quality of PE in these schools. The exercises and games in this book are easy to use, do not require a lot of material and are met with much joy and enthusiasm by the learners. The teaching material was developed by a team of South African and Swiss experts. The lessons meet the requirements of the South African Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) and are supported by the Department of Education, Eastern Cape. We hope you enjoy the lessons!
