The real problem in evaluating clinical history for cardiac cases have been observed by the author during his long clinical work experience of 36 years. As such the heart ailments are on the rise globally. India shares most young population with this disease. Hence each and every clinician should have basic knowledge in clinical cardiology to address these cases at the bedside. This book comprises the very basic art of history taking, its critical analysis, coordination of symptoms with the hypothesized heart disease and their immediate management at the bedside itself. This book has unique presentation of some case studies and intra-cardiac devices like pacemakers, ICD and CRT-D. As of now no clinical method book in cardiology contains such a large spectrum for a complete solution of cardiac cases at the bedside. Various Multiple Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) techniques in one book: 13 MCDM techniques have been applied, namely, WSM, WPM, WASPAS, GRA, SMART, CRITIC, ENTROPY, EDAS, MOORA, AHP, TOPSIS, VIKOR, and new tools: MDEMATEL, Fuzzy MDEMATEL, Modified Fuzzy TOPSIS and Modified Fuzzy VIKOR. To date, no other book possesses this many tools. Various quantitative techniques: Different quantitative techniques have been applied, namely, Cronbach alpha, Chi-square and ANOVA (for demographic analysis), Percent Point Score and Central Tendency (response analysis), Factor Analysis, Correlation and Regression. To date, no other book possesses this many tools. Interpretive Structural Modelling: ISM has been applied for verifying MCDM results through MICMAC analysis and ISM model thus paving the way for model through SEM. Structural Equation Modelling: SEM using AMOS in PASW has been applied for model development. New MCDM techniques developed: In the process during qualitative analysis, new tools have been developed and their results have been compared with other existing MCDM tools and the results are encouraging. The new techniques are MDEMATEL, Fuzzy MDEMATEL, Modified Fuzzy TOPSIS and Modified Fuzzy VIKOR. Qualitative Model Developed: As the title says, Sustainable Green Development and Manufacturing Performance through Modern Production Techniques. It is a need-of-the-hour topic, as industries must maintain their performance (sustainable development) and, while sustaining, they have to keep in mind green issues (that is, environment-related issues, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic) and adopt advanced manufacturing and maintenance techniques. A model for this has been developed which will be helpful to both academicians and industrialists. Real-time Case Studies: Case studies in two industries of differing origins, different manufacturing sectors, different products, and comparing their units in the country of their origin and India. Dr. Chandan Deep Singh is an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab (India). He is a co-author of Adolescents, Family and Consumer Behaviour (Routledge, 2020) and of Manufacturing Competency and Strategic Success in the Automobile Industry (CRC Press, 2019). Dr. Harleen Kaur is a manager (HR) at DELBREC Industries, Pvt. Ltd., Chandigarh. She co-authored Adolescents, Family and Consumer Behaviour (Routledge, 2020).

Also, in the last 2-3 decades there have been well designed and controlled basic and clinical investigations that have steadily added credence to nutraceuticals for disease prevention. This book is a compilation of reviews of data on different nutraceuticals that may be of relevance to Covid-19 pandemic. In this welding process no filler metal is required and thus it’s a emissions less process. In this experiment for the purpose to joining of pieces include the generation of heat with the help of friction. Due to this pressure with variable speeds the tool moves on the work piece for joining of two metals. The soft layer of material will move out and angular movement starts during this process.

Ethnic Life-worlds in North-East India: An Analysis" draws upon the phenomenological notion of the life-world to understand the culturally-embedded construction of communities, for whom the lived experience of cultural politics constitutes their identity. It analyses the cultural and political determinants of ethnic- and identity-oriented struggles in India's North-East, as well as the cultural politics of ethnic mobilizations in the region. Such mobilizations are an attempt to construct a self-identity distinct from that constructed by the state - both colonial and post-colonial India - which becomes a source of concern for the latter with regard to its achieving legitimacy and development in the region.While both the state and insurgent groups carve out their distinct ideological and political agenda on to the life-world of the North-East, it is at the point of diversion that the struggle for establishing such agenda falls into the trappings of constitutional determinism. This book analyses the articulation of ethnic politics in North-East India that takes into account moves for integration, as well as apparent differences. In doing so, it critically examines two major insurgent outfits of the region - NSCN and ULFA. It also discusses struggles launched by the Naga and Assamese people and develops a neologism of nations-from-below, arguing that one needs to take into account the concrete totality of the people's lived experiences.It bases this analysis on a critical discussion of the colonial construction of tribal identity and its post-colonial critique. Thought-provoking and analytical, this book opens a new window to the study of India's North-East, which will intrigue students and scholars across various disciplines of development studies, sociology, philosophy, anthropology, political science and ethnic studies, and will be of interest to policy-makers, NGOs and global humanitarian communities.

Basing their arguments on ethnophilosophy, developed by African philosophers, which focuses on the specific ethno-cultural characteristics of a particular community, the authors seek to interpret and understand North East India, a vast region of multiple ethnic communities, and attempt to correct the hitherto hegemonic explanations offered by the Indian nation-state. They root this will-to-power in psychological and theoretical residues left over from colonialism, which have contaminated the state's way of dealing with insurgency. Providing detailed discussions of three communities, the Nagas, Mizos and the Assamese, the authors suggest that what we are witnessing is not 'insurgency' as alleged by the Indian state but the emergence of 'nations-from-below'. These nascent politics are striving to posit a 'politics of difference' that empowers them to assert their identities and affirm their ethno-cultural roots. The book also provides a critique of the methods and findings of the early ethnography of this region.
