There is much that can be said about the merit of stories, whether captured in memory, extracted from books, or by intelligently made movies. In the short story, one can get into wondrous descriptions of persons, places and things, or by the drama told within the plot, which is placed before us in order to add thought to our being. In my view, all of us have imagination and mental pockets to fill. This is done by what others tell us verbally, visually, or by the printed words of authors who have left their thoughts in their legacy to us or to be processed by the reader.
