Author C. Orville McLeish hails from humble beginnings, yet his family's spirit was unbroken. Despite financial constraints that limited educational pursuits and the acquisition of certain earthly possessions and comfort, he discovered a "faith" that inevitably guided him through many life challenges and transformed him into a voice echoing God's ability to elevate a soul from obscurity to prominence. His was a journey of faith, overcoming hurdles, and challenging conventional perspectives. His transparency reveals personal battles with fear and anxiety before embracing an identity rooted in the understanding that we are reflections of God's image and true heirs of the Most High. Just as ordinary individuals in biblical times triumphed, so can a son of this generation. This theological memoir is a compelling reminder that you, too, can break free from the shadows of obscurity and despair. By discovering your identity in Christ, irrespective of your family background, race or social status, you possess the ability to believe, achieve, and transcend any limitations. You need not be confined to a life of obscurity and anguish. With a foundational understanding of your identity in Christ, coupled with trust and faith, you have the power to overcome obstacles and become who God created you to be. Adam and Eve were created perfect in a perfect world. They were as God-conscious as a human being can get. Yet, they made a bad choice. Despite their fall, the clarity with which Adam and Eve, and Cain, who became a murderous vagabond, was able to speak with God is fascinating. That clarity seems to be missing today, even with those who claim to be "prophetic." Comparing then and now can prove rather burdensome when the answers are not readily available. We have embraced a culture of self-sufficiency that lacks faith to the point where we do not consult God before making decisions. This is a very sad reality because we have learned to do life, and even church, without God, while simultaneously attaching His name to what we do in a way to create some measure of validity. If this world is going to change, there must be a restoration of our capacity to walk in God and with God by faith. We must relearn our total dependency on Him to the point where we do nothing without first consulting Him. This is a lost culture in our day, but I believe a generation will arise as it was in the days of Seth when men begin to call on the name of the Lord again. Despite our modernization and self-aggrandizing culture, we can usher in an age where men once again put all their hope, trust and faith in God, our Creator and Abba. This is the clarion call on this generation and generations to come. Will you answer that call? May we, the ecclesia, rise in faith, trusting God with the same fervor and conviction as the saints of old, and may our lives be a living testament to His enduring faithfulness and grace.
This book was written with the future world changers, and agents of change in mind. May you create a better world for you and those who will come after you, than the one we and those before us made for you. You have this potential. There is no human being born into this world who lacks the potential to create the kind of world they want to live in. You have more power than you realize. This world has suffered long enough from an impending identity crisis. It is time we understood who we are as human beings, and just how much potential we have to effect change. If you learn who you are, and believe, you will become who you were meant to become --- and your world will start to change.
Spirituality is a practice, and any human being can engage in it, whether in Christ or outside of Christ. What we want to achieve is spiritual transformation with Christ at the center. This means knowing who you are, growing in who you are, practicing who you are, with Jesus Christ, the Son of God, at the center of it all. Call it mystical theology, spiritual technology or just the fundamental principles of Christianity, but the next 90 days is practicing to engage with the Word of God, engage with the body and blood of Jesus, meditate on the reality of the kingdom of God of which we are a part, live in absolute awareness of the company of the living, who we are connected to, and live in absolute awareness of the angelic structures and spiritual beings established in and around us to aid in our journey to maturity as a son of God. If as a believer you have ever asked if there is more, then this journey is for you. The simple reality, brothers and sisters, is that there really is more.

When you said yes to Jesus, you immediately became a living soul. You were reborn as a new creation, but as a baby. The process of Christianity then is that through knowledge, faith and practice we come into maturity. When you said yes to Jesus, you took on His power, authority, and identity (your real/true/authentic identity). This book examines some of the foundational principles that we can begin to apply to our lives immediately. While it is designed for new believers, it is also for most Christians who got stuck at the baby stage due to indoctrination. It is time for believers to start living in the reality of who we are in Christ. Our Identity in Christ has been restored and revealed; it is time to initiate.

He quickly learns that there is no such thing as a free ride and indulgence is just an illusion that blinds us from the truth. The road most travelled leads to a very unpleasant place, and the end result to sin is always death. But his choice to return home is just the beginning of his troubles and his DETOUR may have cost him more than he bargained for.
The triune nature of man (spirit, soul, body), created in God's image and likeness, is one of the greatest mysteries of all time. There have been significant medical and scientific discoveries related to the body of man. Yet, no expert will claim he or she has even begun to understand its makeup and functionality. How much more is understanding man's spirit and soul, which extends beyond physicality, all the way back to eternity. This book, by no means, seeks to present arguments from a position of authority and know-it-all. It is written to help initiate a conversation on a vital and essential aspect of a man's being: the soul. The first mention of the soul is in Genesis: And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (Genesis 2:7). The law of first mention in the Biblical Interpretation process demands that some attention be given to the soul of man. The KJV translation reveals the word "soul" is mentioned 498 times. The suggestion here is that humanity should have always paid attention to the idea of man as a "living soul" and not just a body. While I believe in the value of the body, because God made it, I believe the soul carries equal significance because Jesus came to save our souls. Creation is groaning for the fully matured son. While it is good that one person achieves transcendence and manifest as a son of God, there is a greater call for the body of Christ to grow up into the head (who is Christ). This growth has to do with the soul of man that became a new creation with the born again salvation experience. Let's talk about man as a living soul, and may this conversation reverberate throughout the earth as there is a call for believers to come into maturity as sons of God.

God visits His prophet Hosea, who has begun to preach without compassion and love for sinners. It's not a very comfortable confrontation, but one that ends with Hosea feeling a bit hopeful because God has decided to provide for him a wife. Hosea's enthusiasm soon dissipates when he discovers that his wife to be is a Prostitute. He is devastated and struggles with the choice to obey God. Joshua, his father, has always supported his decisions and admires his commitment to God, but is extremely skeptical of this new command. How could God expect a Prophet to marry a Prostitute? What would people think and what would be the ramification of such a union?
Mary was a young girl when the angel Gabriel came to her. She had recently become engaged to a carpenter named Joseph. Mary was an ordinary Jewish girl, looking forward to marriage. Suddenly her life would forever be changed. Mary was fearful and troubled in the presence of the angel. She could never have expected to hear the most incredible news, that she would have a child, and her son would be the Messiah. Although she could not comprehend how she would conceive the Savior, she responded to God with belief and obedience. Although Mary's life held great honor, her calling would demand great suffering as well. Just as there is pain in childbirth and motherhood, these would be much pain in the privilege of being the mother of the Messiah.
