The Liberal Progressives in both political parties, along with the Liberal media, are trying to change our core beliefs on a daily basis. Our politicians are not really worried about the financial cliff they have brought us to today. In this book, I try to point out little-known reported facts and also offer my Conservative opinions on several different subjects. I try to get people to realize how close we are to being ruled instead of governed. It is incumbent on "We the People" to do our Constitutional duty and stay aware of what those fools on the Hill are doing to us, so to speak. I point out things about both Republican and Democrats, so I am an equal-opportunity offender. Neither political party cares about us, and until more fellow citizens wake up, we will keep having the kind of government indifference and apathy elects.

While serving in Virginia during the war, my great-great-grandfather, James Alston Carson, and two of his brothers died from injuries they received in the course of battle. As the story goes, each time my great-great-great-grandfather heard that one of his sons had died in battle, he sent the family servant, George, up to Virginia to recover the remains and bring them back to Georgia to the family cemetery in Macon County, Georgia. I hope you enjoy the story.
