Biola University, under early guidance from Union Oil Company magnate Lyman Stewart, began life as a Bible Institute with a heart for the streets of Los Angeles. In this book, a group of its journalism students' reporting and writing spotlights the lonely pain of Skid Row - a portion of L.A. being helped by, among others, Union Rescue Mission.
