Never Forsaken is a profound memoir of Bishop Ted G. Thomas Sr. It chronicles his journey from Hoke County, North Carolina to Norfolk, Virginia and beyond. Each experience gained from his two hundred and fifty mile transition to the city and his upward climb to community and church leadership transforms into powerful messages and principles that encourages each reader to apply to their lives. This book recounts Bishop Thomas' life of humility through submission to God and obedience to the scriptures. He affirms that God has never forsaken him. If we seek God by putting Him first in our lives, God will take care us of and the material possessions we desire will be added to us.
The Apostle Peter shared in his epistle 2nd Peter that no scriptures are given by private interpretation or by man's own concept or opinion. Holy men wrote as the spirit of God moved upon them. They were led and inspired by the Holy Ghost. God's spirit is still speaking to those Holy Men and Women that have an ear to hear the voice of God!! So, as you read this book, I hope it will inspire you to still away with God and search the scriptures for an End Time's MESSAGE for this Generation.

This book is about a church man named Greg, his wife, Beverly, and her lover, Buster (who is also her husband's business partner). The story whirls around deception and lies as Beverly has her priorities in the wrong place. Beverly, not considering the consequences of her behavior, particularly what her husband would have to endure and the embarrassment it would cause to him, takes him through a series of deceptive episodes. However, Greg's church mother (Mother Beal) and a family friend, Ms. Johnson, felt the whole while that Beverly had a hidden agenda to deceive her husband. The truth unfolds and it all comes to light in an unusual way.
Bishop's "History of Roane County" is the standard work on its subject, but its chief appeal to the genealogist can be found in the hundreds of genealogical and historical essays of pioneer families of Roane County that comprise the second half of the work. Those essays, which, in most cases, are based upon interviews conducted by the author with a surviving family member, generally go back to the early nineteenth century and pertain to migrants from Virginia and the middle states possessing British, Irish, or Scotch-Irish stock.
From Ghetto to Glory is a biographical story of a boy raised in dysfunction, prophesied to be a failure before he could finish school. It's about a boy who suffered beatings for his faith and dismissed from his family because he chose Christ over the religion of his father. The story is somewhat graphic, but the pain in each page culminates in a glory unexpected by the reader. Read the book and walk with Bishop Ellis from "water" to solid ground, and you will appreciate his need to praise God at every circumstance. You may just find yourself praising God along with him.
About the Book Walk in the Light is a tribute to our former first African-American President of the United States of America and is dedicated mostly to young men whose fathers were not around to help their mothers, who struggle every day to make ends meet. Barack Hussein Obama Jr. is a great role model for all young men regardless of creed or color. Our young men today need to know that if Obama could become President of the United States of America, they too can study hard, get a good education, and never give up staying with God. It has become clear during recent global deliberations on biodiversity conservation that achieving Protected Area (PA) financial sustainability will require major changes in the way that PA funding is conceptualized, captured and used. With many, if not most, PAs facing funding crises, both in terms of the amount of funds available and how those are used, there is an urgent need to expand and diversify PA financial portfolios, and to ensure that funding reaches the groups and activities essential for biodiversity conservation. A range of innovative financing mechanisms have been developed and implemented to increase funding for PAs. This document aims to review and assess the status of a variety of these mechanisms, the major obstacles and opportunities for their implementation, and the potential for improvement.
