Bill Calfee has been working with guns since the 1970s and decided to focus on the 22 rimfire beginning in the 1980s. Since the 1980s Bill has had many ideas on how to improve the accuracy of the 22 rimfire, some ideas have increased the accuracy potential tremendously and some ideas proved out to be learning experiences for future ideas. Since about 2001 Bill has tried to capture his ideas, experiments, testing, and conclusions by writing about them. He has written about the successes that increased accuracy as well as the ideas that didnt improve accuracy. Although Bill is not a writer, he felt compelled to pass along the knowledge that he has obtained in the spirit of improving the accuracy of the 22 rimfire benchrest guns for everyone that has like goals. He has shared his writings previously with the benchrest community through different avenues. In this book, all of Bills writings are assembled in a chronological order to show the evolution of the accuracy of the 22rf as he has experienced it. He goes into detail about each aspect of rimfire accuracy discussing all of the components and their contribution to the improved accuracy. This book is a must have for everyone that is serious about increasing the accuracy in their 22 rimfire guns.

Choices, consequences, actions, and reactions lead the characters on a thrilling, if not an outright dangerous, journey. Along the journey, the next generation is forced to mature rapidly as they are confronted with matters from the past. Though not totally chained to historical events, they are not totally free from them either. The past inhibits their future and decisions must be made and the consequences of those decisions endured. In the end it gets down to either choosing a life driven by passion with all of its accompanying precipitous peaks and valleys, or a more bland, lethargic, rudderless existence totally driven by the whim of external uncontrollable forces. The traditional themes of more is expected and the right thing to do is the right thing to do no matter the cost reverberate throughout the storyline but the phenomena of living a life with passion is the dominant message explored. The Passion Premise completes the series of these books that began almost ten years ago, or perhaps . . .

The end result resembled a modern day Canterbury Tales, in which I find myself in the role of the storyteller-- the narrator. Actually, that is just one of the results. In reality, there were many results that provided a poignant glimpse into death, eternity, and most importantly life. It all started on a late October day back in 1967 and the story spans over 10 years. And the ending? Well, the final ending, the final outcome, really has a lot to do with you! The 1904 Olympic Games in St. Louis were both unusual and controversial. One of the major problems for Olympic scholars has been to determine which of the events at these Games were truly of Olympic caliber. The Games were included as part of the World's Fair, and every athletic contest that took place under the Fair's auspices was deemed "Olympic." These activities included croquet and water polo, high school and college championships in football and basketball, as well as the "Anthropology Days" events in which members of "primitive" "tribes" competed against one another.
