They still call him "Coach." Bill Moseley closed out his career as a football player and coach almost 60 years ago, but his former players still call him "Coach," because his mentorship has meant that much to them over the decades. Growing up hardscrabble in Depression-era Montgomery, Alabama, Bill began his playing days at Sidney Lanier High School. He garnered a scholarship to the University of Kentucky, where he played for two years before joining the U.S. Army Air Forces. While on active duty as a gunner on B-29s, he played another college football season and became the first player in the history of the Sun Bowl to score two passing touchdowns (a milestone he accomplished under an assumed name). After military service, Moseley played his final two years at UK (for a total of five legitimate college football seasons) under the aegis of Paul "Bear" Bryant. He then coached exclusively at his high school and college alma maters, where he interpolated not only Bryant's coaching techniques, but the Bear's motivational abilities. And Moseley's players took his life lessons to heart: Many became notable and successful coaches themselves; Many became successful business and civic leaders; One became a U.S. ambassador to France; One was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Coach Bill Moseley's inspiring guidance still resonates with his former players, and his story is one of exemplary and honest leadership. It's obvious that these days, the sports world could use more coaches like him.

The men who served with in the 1st Infantry Division with F company, 52nd Infantry, (LRP) later redesignated as Company I, 75th Infantry (Ranger) --engaged in some of the fiercest, bloodiest fighting during the Vietnam War, suffering a greater relative aggregate of casualties that any other LRRP/LRP/ Ranger company. Their base was Lai Khe, within hailing distance of the Vietcong central headquarters, a mile inside Cambodia, with its vast stockpiles of weapons and thousands of transient VC and NVA soldiers. Recondo-qualified Bill Goshen was there, and has written the first account of these battle-hardened soldiers. As the eyes and ears of the Big Red One, the 1st Infantry, these hunter/killer teams of only six men instered deep inside enemy territory had to survive by their wits, or suffer the deadly consequences. Goshen himself barely escaped with his life in a virtual suicide mission that destroyed half his team. His gripping narrative recaptures the raw courage and sacrifice of American soldiers fighting a savage war of survival: men of all colors, from all walks of life, warriors bonded by triumph and tragedy, by life and death. They served proudly in Vietnam, and their stories need to be told.

The more they uncover, the more Besserian realizes that greed and corruption are the backbone of the supposed "Reform Plan." But can a lone teacher and a group of students possibly stop the juggernaut of Fillmore High's reform before it destroys the school's very foundation?

Start this book off right with this introduction. Leaders with an Apostolic anointing are paving the way to greatness. The new season of the spirit is being prepared for the leaders. Leaders will be confronted by these mature, faithful prophets who will announce with great authority and force that position changes are imminent. True Apostles must now show their authority. "True Apostolic IS Coming" rang out from Heaven as I began to write this sermon. The prophetic message that said, "Apostle come forth" was given to me several months ago. I had no idea what was in store for me. Our apostolic mission will be upon us before we know it, therefore we need to gain a strong grasp on it now." This sort of apostolic leadership is exemplified by Samuel. None of the Lord's teachings were lost, and he did not ask for food from the people." Samuel's life and work have essential features that the Lord wants to pass on to the apostolic leadership that will shortly arise. If we dig deep into Samuel's story, we'll uncover important insights that will help us prepare for this leadership role and minister to the Father's heart. Scripture tells us that when the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus to take up residence within Him, a voice from above confirmed the truth of what had just happened. 2 Corinthians 6:19 An angelic voice proclaimed, "Thou are my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Then the Holy Spirit descended on him in the form of a dove. Similar to the disciples hearing the confirming voice proclaiming Jesus to be God's Son whose words were eternal while seeing the Lord's transfiguration, Apparently, the attesting voice from above indicates that something can be taken for granted as factual. When we have a greater grasp of the apostolic, the more likely it is that we can continue this amazing work without being overwhelmed by its intensity and strength. Praise be to God if we are able to faithfully carry out this important duty with character and honesty. The Lord did not allow a single word of Samuel's to be lost. What a powerful demonstration of the closeness and trust between the Lord and those in authority over Him! As Samuel matured, the Lord was by his side, and nothing he said was lost.

The Chicago & Western Indiana Railroad was a short line running 16 miles from downtown Chicago to Dolton, Illinois, the first suburb south of Chicago, with another line running southeast from Eighty-First Street to the Indiana state line. Built in the 1880s, it was owned by five trunk line railroads that used it as an efficient and inexpensive route into downtown Chicago. Like many 19th-century railroads, the C&WI reached its traffic peak in the middle of the 20th century. After World War II, passenger travel and shipping moved to airlines and over-the-road trucking. The need for rail access into downtown Chicago declined, and the C&WI ended its service in 1994.

Santa Susana is one of three rural towns in Simi Valley that began at the turn of the 20th century. The town derives its name from the surrounding mountains, Sierra de Santa Susanna, and grew up alongside the railroad depot built by the Southern Pacific Company in 1903. The history of Santa Susana can be traced back to the Chumash Indian village of Taapu and a Spanish land grant, El Rancho Simi. The area was first surveyed by the Simi Valley Land and Water Company in 1887 for the sale of ranches. By the mid-1950s, Santa Susana had become a recognized agricultural center, noted for citrus and walnut production. Corriganville and Bottle Village are unique tourist destinations that originated near the Santa Susana Airport. In the surrounding mountains, quirky religious groups established communes away from the public with strange names and stories: Pisgah Grande, The Great Eleven Club, and WKFL Fountain of the World.
