The audacious scheme was brilliantly planned and executed with precision. Lawmen were stymied. The only things standing in the way of complete success were the greed of the co-conspirators and an unforeseen encounter with someone not even associated with the heist.

In a style that is always entertaining, unabashedly idiosyncratic, and frequently irreverent, he writes about Jelly Roll Morton and Bunny Berigan, Eubie Blake and Bobby Hackett, Earl Hines and Louis Armstrong, and more than fifty others. Rose was only twenty-two when he was first introduced to Jelly Roll Morton. He quickly discovered that they had more in common than a love of music. Something of a peacock at that age, Rose was dressed in a "polychromatic, green-striped suit, pink shirt with a detachable white collar, dubonnet tie, buttonhole, and handkerchief" -- and so was Jelly Roll. About Eubie Blake, Rose notes that he was not only a superb musician but also a notorious ladies' man. Rose recalls asking the noted pianist when he was ninety-seven, "How old do you have to be before the sex drive goes?" Blake's reply: "You'll have to ask someone older than me." Once in 1947, Rose was asked to assemble a group of musicians to play at a reception to be hosted by President Truman at Blair House in Washington, D.C. The musicians included Muggsy Spanier, George Brunies, Pee Wee Russell, Pops Foster, and Baby DOdds. But the hit of the evening was President Truman himself, who joined the group on the piano to play "Kansas City Kitty" and the "Missouri Waltz." I Remember Jazz is replete with such amusing and affectionate anecdotes -- vignettes that will delight all fans of the music. Al Rose does indeed remember jazz. And for that we can all be grateful.

European radiologists are additionally hampered from participating in international communication because of the language barriers created by the national journals. As a result, Europe's contribution to scientific progress in this interdisciplinary field has influenced only regional developments.

The Cloud Museum in deeper Salford is a revelation. Crime extends to all sectors of society and the world of weather is no exception. Two amorous undergraduates completed work experience aboard cloud machines. A honeymoon cruise onboard a cloud machine was a dream come true for an American couple. You can enjoy all this stuff without getting wet, but it would still be advisable to have an umbrella handy - better to be safe rather than drenched!

Wiafe stressed on the importance of technology to rural development and, more importantly, pointed out the role that the church can play in fostering the use of technology for rapid transformation. Dr. Louis D. Atsiatorme proposed the use of African philosophical thoughts in sustainable environmental education in Ghana and posited that sustainable environmental education should be based on African philosophical thought. Mr. Fabrice Fifonsi analysed the role of parliamentarians and local government in the rural development with the utilisation of technology in a systemic approach considering their representative mandate, coupled with their legislative and oversight functions. Rev. Dr. John K. Louis developed a Christian theological work on how to mitigate environmental degradation. His work takes source from the Laudato si of Pope Francis who rightly states that the Eucharist is a source of light and motivation for our concerns for the environment, directing us to be stewards of all creation. Finally, Prof. Amevi Acakpovi et al. presented two papers dealing respectively with energy conservation and efficiency and the adoption of electronic government in tertiary educations.

The novel Black Talon, is a story of the intelligence war against worldwide terrorism and the people who are fighting this war. In Frankfurt, Germany, a new terrorist network has emerged, a splinter group of Al Queda. They are well along in their plans to launch a worldwide military strike against several North American and European targets with devastating weapons that they believe will bring down Western civilization in one blow. There are two main characters among a group of many. The first is an agent of the Central Intelligence Agency based in Frankfurt and the other is an FBI agent located in Dallas Texas. As the intelligence agencies of the Western powers become more aware of the plans of the terrorists they launch an all out search for the weapons they have laid in place or are about to place. The book is fast moving and riveting to the reader with the action taking place in such places as France, Spain, America, Istanbul and Algeria. Interlaced with the story and concerning the two main characters are romantic entanglements that take on some prominence. The race is on to find the weapons and time is running out. If the terrorists succeed in delivering their weapons the leaders of the Western powers know that they must retaliate with punishing blows to those who carried out the attacks and to those who supported them.
