SAUDAMINI is a young lady who refuses to let her husband touch her. She has great affection for her man, but that still does not solve the problem. Her father explains the trying circumstances responsible for her malady. Intellectually, even she understands her precarious situation. It is only with some intensive help from a doting husband that she recovers. PURNIMA is a schoolgirl who exasperates everyone with her lasciviousness. Her father puts her in boarding school, but she elopes with the gardener’s son. On a religious tour to her village, she disappears with the driver and marries him. Admitted to a computer class, she has sex in classroom with the receptionist. Gonadotrophins put her on a path of recovery. But there are horrendous answers hidden in the secret of her conception. JYOTI is a newly married woman who vanishes on her wedding night. Her father finds and sends her back, but she disappears repeatedly. The in-laws are exasperated and seek divine intervention as well as medical help to keep her home. Her husband claims that somebody advised her on phone not to sleep with him on their honeymoon. Letters arrive in an illegible scrawl, which tell the parents not to send Jyoti to her in-law’s. Everyone starts doubting the girl’s character, but the father is insistent that his daughter has no prior affairs. MRS. SINGH is an elderly grandmother whose husband is on the verge of retirement. When faced with problems of intimacy the wife becomes insultingly abusive towards her husband. Mr. Singh lays claim to a robust sex life for years. Hence it is surprising that the wife should so behave post menopause, in his down hill years. THE STRANGE CASE OF AMIT.M has a strikingly handsome six-foot athletic male having repeated convulsions. He has been admitted to a major hospital and is on medication, but there is no relief. The wife blames his problem on a disturbed childhood. But when the mother is interrogated, she turns the tables on the daughter-in-law.

The development of software system with acceptable level of reliability and quality within available time frame and budget becomes a challenging objective. This objective could be achieved to some extent through early prediction of number of faults present in the software, which reduces the cost of development as it provides an opportunity to make early corrections during development process. The book presents an early software reliability prediction model that will help to grow the reliability of the software systems by monitoring it in each development phase, i.e. from requirement phase to testing phase. Different approaches are discussed in this book to tackle this challenging issue. An important approach presented in this book is a model to classify the modules into two categories (a) fault-prone and (b) not fault-prone. The methods presented in this book for assessing expected number of faults present in the software, assessing expected number of faults present at the end of each phase and classification of software modules in fault-prone or no fault-prone category are easy to understand, develop and use for any practitioner. The practitioners are expected to gain more information about their development process and product reliability, which can help to optimize the resources used.
