Secrets are dangerous is a contemporary thriller written by Shweta Chauhan. This is her first attempt at murder mystery. The novel revolves around a young, brilliant cardiologist Dr. Parijat Bhardwaj. Parijat’s nightmare begins after the death of her best friend a art I. In one unlucky moment parijat has lost her friend and her car and her peace of mind. Police investigation tells parijat that it was fortunate case of victim swapping for her. She is alive because her friend was driving her car. Parijat is crestfallen, guilt ridden and still fearing for her life. Accidently, she notices a few disturbing facts and is forced to connect aarti’s accident with the death of two more classmates. This is bewildering, she starts moving ahead cautiously (she has been drugged once). as mystery unfolds, she finds sweet lies, drugs, and a long forgotten secret and the truth that actually a art I was the target; parijat was just a red herring.
